Belts and Hoses

A series of belts and hoses drive engine accessories such as the alternator, water pump, power steering, and air conditioning in your vehicle including the timing, serpentine and coolant belt. 

Over time these belts and hoses lose their ability to expand and contract in the heat emitted by the engine causing them to crack, leak or rust. 

You don’t want to be stuck on the road when a belt or hose cracks! 

At Brake Check, our trained technicians, will examine your belts and hoses and be able to tell you how much more life you can get out of them so you know when its time to get them replaced. 

Belts and hoses should be checked with every oil change for excessive wear.
